Clear double-sided tape · OEM / ODM source factory

Custom clear acrylic double-sided tape — transparent, residue-free.

High-clarity acrylic bonding tape on a red PET liner — from ultra-thin transfer film for invisible bonds on glass and metal, to a stretchable acrylic-foam core that cushions, seals and replaces screws. We make our own acrylic adhesive, then coat, slit and die-cut to your spec.

Clear double-sided tape, made to order

An invisible bond — engineered to your surface.

Clear acrylic double-sided tape disappears into the joint: a water-clear acrylic that wets out on glass, acrylic, metal and painted surfaces for a bond with no visible edge. Because we run the full chain — from acrylic resin to finished roll — we tune clarity, tack and temperature instead of reselling a stock item.

Choose a thin unsupported transfer film for flat, smooth surfaces and the lowest profile, or a high-clarity acrylic-foam core when you need to fill gaps, follow a curve, damp vibration or seal out water. Both lift away cleanly, so they’re safe on car paint and finished surfaces.

Own acrylic adhesiveWe coat our own clear PSA — optical clarity, tack and temperature tuned in-house, not bought as a stock laminate.
Clear & residue-freeWater-clear bond with no visible edge; removes cleanly from glass, paint and finished surfaces.
Slit & die-cut to shapeSlit from 3 mm narrow rolls up to wide; plus die-cut coins, squares and custom pads on a red liner.

How it’s built

The anatomy of a clear acrylic tape.

A supported clear tape is a sandwich: clear acrylic on both faces of a high-clarity acrylic-foam core, with a red PET release liner so the roll won’t stick to itself. A transfer tape drops the core — pure acrylic on a liner — for the thinnest, most invisible bond line.

Red PET release liner — clear, easy-tear, peels away at application
Clear acrylic adhesive — bonding side A
Acrylic foam core — high-clarity, stretchable (omitted on transfer tape)
Clear acrylic adhesive — bonding side B
Red PET release liner — protects side B until use

Choose the right tape

Three things that decide which one you need.

01 · Surface

Flat, or uneven and curved?

Flat, smooth surfaces (glass, metal, acrylic) take a thin transfer or ultra-thin film for an invisible line. Uneven, curved or gapped surfaces need an acrylic-foam core to fill and conform.

02 · Visibility

Does the bond need to disappear?

Red-liner clear acrylic is water-clear and leaves no visible edge on glass and acrylic. Choose transfer for the thinnest line, or foam where you also need cushioning and gap-fill.

03 · Environment

Indoor, automotive or outdoor?

Indoor décor uses a standard clear grade. For car paint and outdoor signage choose a UV- and water-resistant weatherable grade; for electronics choose a high-temperature, insulating grade.

Buyer FAQ

Clear double-sided tape questions.

The things buyers ask before ordering. Don’t see yours? Send it with your spec.

What’s your MOQ for custom clear double-sided tape?
MOQ depends on the construction, thickness and whether the size/adhesive is custom, but it’s low for a source factory — tell us the type, thickness, width and target quantity and we’ll confirm the exact MOQ with your quote.
Can I get free samples first?
Yes. We ship free samples so you can test clarity and hold on your own substrates before committing — request them with your spec and we’ll send the matching constructions.
Transfer (unsupported) or acrylic-foam — which do I need?
Use a thin unsupported transfer film on flat, smooth surfaces for the lowest, most invisible line. Use a high-clarity acrylic-foam core when you need to fill a gap, follow a curve, cushion or seal — it’s also the stronger, structural option.
Will it stay invisible on glass and clear acrylic?
Our clear acrylic is water-clear and wets out without a visible edge on glass and acrylic. For the most invisible result use a thin transfer film; a foam core is slightly thicker but still clear or translucent.
How thick should I choose?
Thin transfer / ultra-thin (0.05–0.3 mm) suits flat, well-matched surfaces and low-profile bonds; 0.5–1.5 mm foam handles slight unevenness and car paint; 2.0–3.0 mm foam fills bigger gaps, cushions and holds heavier loads outdoors.
Can it be removed without residue or paint damage?
Our acrylic foam grades are designed to lift away cleanly from finished surfaces and car paint when removed as directed. For a fully repositionable bond, ask for a removable adhesive.
Do you offer high-temperature, UV and waterproof grades?
Yes — weatherable grades resist UV and water for automotive and outdoor use, and high-temperature, insulating grades suit electronics. Tell us the temperature and exposure and we’ll match it.
Can you die-cut shapes and supply narrow rolls?
Yes — we kiss-cut coins, squares and custom pads on a red liner for automated placement, and slit narrow precision rolls down to 3–5 mm for repair and small parts.
Red liner or white liner — what’s the difference?
The red PET liner is clear, easy to tear and the most common choice for die-cutting, cross-border and automotive use. A white PET / paper liner is a lower-cost option for general home use.
Do you offer private label / OEM?
Yes — your logo, core, liner print and packaging. We supply OEM / ODM for distributors and brands worldwide.
What’s the lead time?
Samples typically ship within a day or two; production lead time depends on quantity and construction and is confirmed on your quote.
What information should I send to get a recommendation?
Tell us: the two surfaces, whether they’re flat or curved and any gap, the load and whether it must be removable, the temperature / outdoor exposure, how clear it must be, and the width, format and quantity. With that we’ll recommend a construction, send free samples and quote.
