Die-cut adhesive shapes, made to order

Your shape, cut and ready to apply.

A die-cut adhesive pad takes the bonding power of our clear acrylic double-sided tape and delivers it as a finished part — the exact outline you need, on a liner, ready to peel and place. No hand-cutting, no waste, no misaligned strips on the line.

We cut from two bases: a thin unsupported acrylic for flat, smooth surfaces and the lowest profile, or a high-bond acrylic foam that fills gaps, follows gentle curves, cushions and seals. Add finger-lift tabs, locating ears or screw-clearance holes, and supply as stacked sheets for hand assembly or reel with the waste removed for pick-and-place.

Finger-lift & locating-tab parts from nibaL
Tabbed · automation

Finger-lift & locating-tab parts

Parts with a finger-lift tab or locating ear so the liner peels fast and the part seats accurately — first choice for automated assembly.

Feature: lift tab / locating ear

Multi-hole & hollow gaskets from nibaL
Cut-outs

Multi-hole & hollow gaskets

Pads with holes or hollow centres to clear screws, clips and connectors — die-cut to your hole pattern.

How it’s built

The anatomy of a die-cut pad.

A die-cut pad is the same clear-acrylic tape sandwich — adhesive on both faces, with an optional acrylic-foam core — but kiss-cut to your outline: the blade cuts through the adhesive and stops at the liner, so the surrounding matrix peels away and your shapes stay on the liner, ready to apply.

Red PET release liner — kiss-cut leaves it intact for peel-and-stick
Clear acrylic adhesive — bonding side A
Core — high-bond acrylic foam (omitted on thin unsupported pads)
Clear acrylic adhesive — bonding side B
Liner / finger-lift tab — optional tab or second liner for accurate placement

Spec your pad

Three things that decide your die-cut pad.

01 · Base

Flat, or gap / curve?

Choose thin unsupported acrylic for flat, smooth surfaces and the lowest profile. Choose high-bond acrylic foam to fill gaps, follow gentle curves, cushion and seal.

02 · Features

How will it be applied?

Add a finger-lift tab and locating ears for fast, accurate placement; add holes to clear screws and connectors; specify rounded corners to resist edge-lift.

03 · Volume

Sheets or reel?

Flat-bed die suits proofs and low / medium volume on sheets; rotary die on reel with the matrix removed is best for high-volume automated pick-and-place.

Buyer FAQ

Die-cut pad questions.

The things buyers ask before ordering. Don’t see yours? Send it with your drawing.

What’s your MOQ for custom die-cut pads?
It’s low for a source factory and depends on the size, base and cutting method — flat-bed tooling keeps proofs and small runs affordable. Send your shape and target quantity and we’ll confirm MOQ and tooling with your quote.
Can you proof my shape and send free samples?
Yes. We tool from your drawing or sample and ship free die-cut samples so you can test fit and hold on your own parts before committing.
What file do you need?
A CAD / AI / DXF / PDF drawing with dimensions is ideal; we can also reverse-engineer the tool from a physical sample. Tell us the shape, any holes/tabs, and the quantity.
Thin unsupported or acrylic-foam base — which?
Use thin unsupported acrylic on flat, smooth surfaces for the lowest, most invisible bond. Use high-bond acrylic foam when you need to fill a gap, follow a curve, cushion or seal — it’s also the stronger option.
Can you add finger-lift tabs, locating ears and holes?
Yes — finger-lift tabs and locating ears speed up and align assembly, and we cut holes, hollow centres or multi-hole patterns to clear screws, clips and connectors.
Sheets or reel — which should I order?
Stacked sheets suit hand assembly; reel with the surrounding matrix removed feeds automated pick-and-place. Tell us your line and we’ll supply the right format.
Flat-bed or rotary die — what’s the difference?
Flat-bed (steel-rule) tooling is low-cost and fast for proofs and small-to-medium volume; rotary die is more precise and runs continuous reel for high volume. We’ll recommend based on your shape and quantity.
Will it remove cleanly and stay paint-safe?
Our acrylic-foam grades lift away cleanly from finished surfaces and car paint when removed as directed; ask for a removable adhesive if you need a fully repositionable pad.
Red liner or white liner?
The red PET liner is clear, easy to tear and ideal for high-speed die-cutting and automation — the usual choice for cross-border, automotive and electronics. A white PET / kraft liner is a lower-cost option for general use.
Do you offer private label / OEM?
Yes — your logo, packaging and printed liner. We supply OEM / ODM for distributors and brands worldwide.
What’s the lead time?
Samples and tooling proofs typically turn around quickly; production lead time depends on quantity and cutting method and is confirmed on your quote.
What information should I send to get a recommendation?
Send the shape or drawing, the two surfaces, whether they’re flat or curved and any gap, the load and whether it must be removable, the temperature / outdoor exposure, sheets-or-reel, and the quantity. With that we’ll recommend a base, tool the shape, send free samples and quote.
