Custom scrim double-sided tape — tear-proof grip for carpet & flooring.
A fiberglass-mesh scrim reinforces the core, so this double-sided tape won’t stretch, snap or lift under load. Acrylic adhesive both sides on a yellow glassine liner — the strong, repositionable choice for carpet seaming, floor coverings, exhibitions and signage.
Reinforced so it holds — and pulls up clean.
Ordinary double-sided tape stretches and tears when you pull a carpet tight or peel it back up. A woven fiberglass scrim runs through the core of this tape, giving it high tensile strength in both directions — it holds heavy floor coverings flat, resists curling at the edges, and still tears cleanly by hand when you need it.
Two adhesive systems cover the range: a low-odour hot-melt that lifts up cleanly for short-term and indoor use, and a solvent acrylic that grips rough concrete and powder-coat and stands up to weather and time outdoors. Both bond carpet, vinyl flooring, leather, wood, concrete and painted walls.

Pick by adhesive and thickness — each customizable on mesh, tack, liner, width and format. Tell us the floor or surface and we’ll recommend one.

Hot-melt scrim tape (removable)
Low-odour hot-melt that holds firm but lifts up cleanly — the popular choice for home anti-slip mats, carpet and indoor décor. Waterproof, −10 to 120 °C.
Removal: clean, residue-free

Solvent acrylic scrim tape (permanent)
Solvent acrylic with strong, lasting hold and weather-resistance — for full carpet lay, vinyl seams and outdoor work on rough concrete and powder-coat.
Hold: long-term / outdoor

Thin scrim tape (0.12–0.15 mm)
Fine mesh, thin build for flat carpet seams, wall fixing and craft mounting — bonds flat with no rise or bubbling.
Width: 10–50 mm

Heavy scrim tape (0.2–0.28 mm)
A thicker adhesive that bridges floor gaps for full-coverage carpet, heavy mats and vinyl-flooring seams — extra anti-slip and load.
Hold: high · anti-slip

Carpet & flooring seam tape
Sized and tacked for carpet seaming and floor-covering joints — stops shifting, curling and edge-lift under foot traffic.
Width: to your spec

Die-cut scrim pads & shapes
Circles, squares and custom anti-slip pads with finger-lift tabs on a liner — for mats, foot pads and decorative bases.
Supply: on a liner

The anatomy of a scrim double-sided tape.
The strength comes from the middle: a woven fiberglass scrim carries the adhesive on both faces, with a stiff glassine release liner. The mesh is what stops the tape stretching, snapping or curling when a carpet is pulled tight or lifted.
Applications.
Carpet seaming & laying
Joins and anchors carpet so it can’t shift, curl or lift — the core use.
Vinyl / PVC flooring seams
Bonds vinyl and PVC floor-covering joints flat and tight.
Anti-slip mats & rugs
Holds entrance mats, rugs and yoga mats in place — no sliding.
Exhibitions & event carpet
Lays show and event carpet that survives heavy foot traffic, then lifts up.
Stage & backdrop fixing
Temporary fixing of backdrops, printed cloth and staging materials.
Posters, banners & décor
Removable hot-melt grade fixes posters and décor without marking walls.
Leather & textile bonding
Positions leather, fabric and carpet face before sewing.
Foam & gasket fixing
Mounts EVA foam, anti-slip feet and sealing gaskets in light assembly.
What you can customize.

Three things that decide which one you need.
Lift up clean, or stay for good?
Hot-melt is best for indoor, short-term and wall-safe work — it removes cleanly. Solvent acrylic is the strongest, permanent and outdoor choice, though long-term removal may leave slight residue.
Flat floor or gaps?
Thin 0.12–0.15 mm suits flat carpet seams and wall fixing; heavy 0.2–0.28 mm bridges floor gaps for full-coverage carpet and heavy mats.
Indoor, damp or outdoor?
Both grades are waterproof. Use hot-melt indoors and on walls; choose the weather-resistant solvent acrylic for outdoor work and rough concrete.
